About This Blog...

Is a piano concert relevant to today's culture and church?  I believe it is because it can reach people for the Gospel that may not be reached by other methods.  By playing music instead of singing, the listener can contemplate the words of the song or just enjoy the beauty of the melody.  What do you think?  G. Worship Songs
April 7, 2010

In our Christian culture today, I see a lot of worship songs that have great messages and others that are shallow.  With piano, I arrange pieces that people have a general familiarity with,  so that they can relate to what is being shared.  Some examples are on my website, www.GRDPianoMinistry.org.

I agree, some songs do have good content. Some repeat the same phrase a bunch of times. I like them generally.
